Confident of growing as per our earlier guidance, says KEC International

KEC International has posted an in-line quarterly results. Margins were strong but the transmission and distribution (T&D) business disappointed. Rajeev Aggarwal, CFO of the company spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the results.

Aggarwal said that the decline in T&D business was a one quarter blip.

Aggarwal said that the company is confident of growing as per its earlier guidance on good order inflow.

Talking about T&D business, Aggarwal said, “T&D business should be back on track from Q2 onwards.”

“Although in Q2 because of monsoon revenues may not jump up but from Q3-Q4 onwards revenue will grow and for the year as a whole the guidance that we have given to the market of about 15 percent growth this year – that we are on track,” he added.
