Confluent Names Stephen Deasy as Chief Technology Officer

10:01 AM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Confluent (CFLT) said Monday it has appointed Stephen Deasy as its chief technology officer.

Deasy previously worked as chief technology officer at Benchling, a cloud-based biotechnology research and development platform, Confluent said.

Deasy's appointment followed the departure of Chad Verbowski as Confluent's chief technology officer in November 2024. Verbowski had agreed to remain as an adviser to Confluent through Feb. 21, the company said in a US Securities and Exchange Commission filing dated November 2024.

Shares of the company were down 1.1% in recent trading.
