The rating was awarded for Cornish Metals' ( SBWFF ) corporate and project performance. Digbee assigns ratings from AAA to D. The A score achieved by Cornish Metals ( SBWFF ) is an average of scores received between CCC and AAA.

The South Crofty tin project in Cornwall, U.K., incorporates underground mining, reuse of existing infrastructure, backfilling of tailings, use of renewable electricity, and commissioning of a high-efficiency water treatment plant, which was seen as active efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, surface disturbance and water pollution.
