Coterra Energy misses quarterly profit estimates

Aug 1 (Reuters) - U.S. oil and gas producer Coterra

Energy ( CTRA ) missed second-quarter profit estimates on

Thursday, hurt by lower production and subdued natural gas

prices.

The company reported adjusted earnings of 37 cents per

share, for the three months ended June 30, compared with average

analysts' estimate of 39 cents per share, according to LSEG

data.
