04:47 AM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Coty ( COTY ) said Tuesday it has initiated a strategic review of its consumer beauty division to explore options including partnerships, spin-offs, or a sale.
The review will focus on the company's $1.2 billion revenue mass color cosmetics unit, which includes the CoverGirl and Rimmel brands, as well as its Brazil business, it said.
Coty ( COTY ) also plans to more closely integrate its prestige beauty and mass fragrance segments, which account for 69% of its sales, to boost growth and efficiency.
"Under this new structure, Coty ( COTY ) will fully leverage its scale across R&D, consumer insights, manufacturing, and distribution to strengthen the company's revenue and profit engine," it said.
Two consumer beauty executives will step down as part of the restructuring, including Stefano Curti, chief brands officer, and Alexis Vaganay, chief commercial officer.
The company's shares gained more than 1% in premarket activity.
