CPKC Published Update On Low Carbon Transition

04:36 PM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Pacific Kansas City ( CP ) (CP.TO, CP) after trade Thursday published its 2025 Climate Mileposts report highlighting the actions being taken by the company to enhance sustainability.

Among highlights, CPKC said it is doubling the size of its hydrogen test fleet in early 2025 to include three additional locomotives and an added tender car; then adding further to this test fleet with four more locomotives planned for later in 2025.

IT is preparing for delivery of 100 Tier 4 diesel-electric locomotives in 2025, which are expected to reduce air pollutants and emissions and enhance fuel economy and reliability.

CPKC was down $0.82 at $110.56 on the TSX today.
