CRA International Shares Drop Despite Fiscal Q2 Beat, Updated 2024 Revenue Outlook

11:33 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CRA International ( CRAI ) shares were down by nearly 12% in recent Thursday trading even as the company reported better-than-expected fiscal Q2 results and updated its full-year revenue guidance.

Fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings were $1.83 per diluted share, up from $1.42 per share a year earlier, the company said. Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.50.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 29 rose to $171.4 million from $162 million a year earlier. Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $168.3 million.

For fiscal 2024, the company said it now expects revenue of $670 million to $685 million on a constant currency basis, up from its prior range of $645 million to $675 million.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $667.6 million.

CRA kept its quarterly dividend at $0.42 per share, payable Sept. 13 to shareholders of Aug. 27.
