10:28 AM EDT, 05/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cummins (CMI) unit Accelera said Tuesday it intends to launch a battery electric powertrain for Isuzu's F-series medium-duty truck in North America.

The truck, which is expected to be available in 2026, will include Accelera's lithium iron phosphate battery technology, the company said.

Cummins shares were up 0.8% in recent trading.
