02:49 PM EDT, 04/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CVS Health ( CVS ) said Tuesday Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has recommended its Aetna Better Health of Michigan to continue serving beneficiaries of Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program under a new contract.

A new Comprehensive Health Care Program contract will start later in 2024, with the option for renewals, pending the contract negotiations, the company said.

The stock was more than 1% lower in recent trading.
