08:18 AM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Danaher ( DHR ) said Wednesday it has launched two new certified labs to advance Companion Diagnostics and Complementary Diagnostics.

The company said Companion Diagnostics will assess whether a patient produces enough of a particular protein to respond well to a specific drug, while Complementary Diagnostics tests highlight broadly which therapies might be most effective.

Additionally, Danaher ( DHR ) said it plans to open another innovation center in the US later this year featuring capabilities like immunohistochemistry, polymerase chain reaction, and immunoassay.
