Daura Gold Up 6.9% as It Appoints Mark Summer as Chief Executive

02:01 PM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Daura Gold ( DGCOF ) shares rose 6.9% on Wednesday after it announced the transition of Mark Sumner to chief executive, effective November 1.

Sumner was the company's former president and director. The company said current CEO Luis Saenz will remain on its board.

"I'm honoured to lead Daura into its next phase of development," Sumner said. "With a strong treasury, an experienced technical team, and a clear focus on high-impact exploration, Daura is well positioned to deliver meaningful results and create long-term value for shareholders."

Shares of the company were last seen up $0.02 at $0.31 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
