DaVita Closes $1 Billion Private Senior Notes Offering

01:03 PM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- DaVita ( DVA ) said in a regulatory filing Wednesday that it completed a private offering Tuesday of approximately $1 billion of its 6.875% senior notes due 2032.

The healthcare company said it also agreed to establish an incremental tranche of senior secured term A loans worth about $1.1 billion. The loans mature on April 28, 2028.

DaVita ( DVA ) took in total net proceeds from the offering and loans of about $2.08 billion. It said it will use the net proceeds to repay all of its approximately $950 million outstanding tranche B-1 term loans maturing in 2026 and certain outstanding revolving loans of $60 million.

The company said it will use the remaining net proceeds to pay certain outstanding revolving loans of $350 million.

Shares of DaVita ( DVA ) were up 3.2% in recent trading.
