DaVita misses third-quarter profit estimates on higher costs

Oct 29 (Reuters) - DaVita ( DVA ) reported third-quarter

profit that missed Wall Street estimates on Tuesday, hurt by

high patient care costs.

On an adjusted basis, it reported third-quarter profit of

$2.59 per share, below analysts' estimate of $2.73 per share.
