June 18 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Tuesday:
** Shell has agreed to buy Singaporean liquefied
natural gas (LNG) company Pavilion Energy from global investment
company Temasek in a move the oil major said will strengthen its
leadership position in LNG, according to statements.
** TA Associates is preparing to put Netrisk Group, one of
Hungary's largest price comparison companies, up for sale, three
people familiar with the matter told Reuters.
** South African insurer Sanlam will buy a 60%
stake in MultiChoice's insurance business for 1.2
billion rand ($66 million) in cash upfront and a potential
performance-based earn-out of up to 1.5 billion rand, the groups
said.
** Blackstone launched a 275.8 billion yen ($1.74
billion) bid to take Japanese digital comic distributor Infocom ( IFFOF )
private, including a tender offer for a per-share price
of 6,060 yen, Infocom ( IFFOF ) said.
** French industrial group Seche Environnement has
agreed to buy Singapore's ECO Industrial Environmental
Engineering for around S$605 million ($447.4 million), according
to a statement by the company dated Monday.
