July 19 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Friday:

** Britain's Hargreaves Lansdown extended the

deadline by which a consortium led by CVC Capital would need to

make a firm offer for the British investment platform to Aug. 5.

** Britain's competition regulator said it has cleared

Nationwide Building Society's proposed 2.9-billion-pound

($3.75 billion) all-cash deal to buy Virgin Money UK ( CYBBF ).

** Proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis has recommended Vista

Outdoor ( VSTO ) shareholders to vote in favor of the proposed

merger of the company's ammunition unit with Czechoslovak Group

(CSG), in a report seen by Reuters on Thursday.
