Aug 15 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Thursday:

** Australian lithium miner Pilbara Minerals ( PILBF ) said

it would acquire smaller peer Latin Resources ( LRSRF ) for an

implied value of A$559.9 million ($369.4 million) in a move to

diversify its operations.

** Gamco Asset Management, one of the largest shareholders

of Dril-Quip ( DRQ ), said on Wednesday it would vote against

the proposed merger of the oilfield services firm with peer

Innovex Downhole Solutions.

** Controlling shareholders of Brazilian payments firm Cielo

concluded a 4.3 billion reais ($786 million) tender

offer on Wednesday that takes the firm private, according to

Brazilian exchange operator B3.

** Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway ( BRK/A ) acquired

stakes in cosmetics store chain Ulta Beauty ( ULTA ) and

aircraft parts maker Heico ( HEI ) during the second quarter,

when it also significantly cut its huge stake in Apple ( AAPL ).
