Oct 8 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1015 GMT on Tuesday:

** Honeywell ( HON ) said on Tuesday it would spin off its

advanced materials business, which makes products used in

everything from bullet-resistant armor to pharmaceutical

packaging.

** Asset manager Ares Management Corp ( ARES ) said on

Tuesday it will buy the international business of GLP Capital

Partners in a deal valued at $3.7 billion.

** Britain's Vodafone ( VOD ) said on Tuesday it has

deepened its strategic partnership with Alphabet's

Google in a ten-year, billion dollar plus deal that will bring

the U.S. tech giant's new generative AI-powered devices to

customers across Europe and Africa.

** Holcim has bought U.S. insulation systems OX

Engineered Products, the cement maker said on Tuesday, its

latest bolt-on acquisition to expand its products and solutions

business.

** Indonesian state-controlled miner PT Aneka Tambang

(Antam) has acquired a 30% stake worth $102 million in

a smelter owned by a subsidiary of Chinese stainless steel giant

Tsingshan Holding Group, the company said in an exchange filing.

** The chief of South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service

ordered a probe into tender offers for Korea Zinc

shares to monitor for any unfair trade practices, the financial

watch dog said in a statement.

** China's WuXi AppTec, said on

Tuesday it was assessing options for continuing its cell and

gene therapy manufacturing business, WuXi Advanced Therapies,

but it has not entered any binding deals regarding the

operations.
