September 3 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on
Wednesday:
** Israeli cyber security firm Cato Networks said it was
buying cyber startup Aim Security, its first ever acquisition,
and raising another $50 million in a private funding round.
** MFE-MediaForEurope has secured a stake of above
70% in ProSiebenSat.1 following its takeover bid for
the German broadcaster, sources close to the matter told
Reuters.
** Australia's Steadfast Group has strengthened its U.S.
footprint after acquiring a majority stake in MGA and wholesaler
Novum Underwriting Partners LLC.
** Global Indemnity subsidiary Penn-America Underwriters has
completed the acquisition of Sayata, an AI-enabled digital
distribution marketplace for commercial insurance.
** Skyward Specialty Insurance Group has agreed a $555
million deal to acquire 100% of Apollo Group Holdings Limited
from Alchemy, the Lloyd's insurer's management, employees and
other strategic investors.
