September 25 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Thursday:

** Italian energy group Eni has completed the sale of a

30% stake in the Ivory Coast's Baleine offshore project to

global commodity trader Vitol, it said in a statement.

** HSBC ( HSBC ) has agreed to sell its retail banking

operations in Sri Lanka to local peer Nations Trust Bank, the

lender said.

** Citigroup ( C/PN ) has agreed to sell a 25% stake in Grupo

Financiero Banamex to a company owned by Mexican billionaire

Fernando Chico Pardo and his family, marking a step toward

Citi's plan to take the unit public.

** Chongqing Qianli Technology said its key

shareholder has agreed to transfer a 3% company stake, valued at

1.34 billion yuan ($187.90 million), to Mercedes-Benz Group.

** Any final agreement between Italy's top insurer Generali

and France's BPCE to combine their asset management

businesses will be subject to prior approval by the insurer's

board of directors, Generali said.

** Shareholders in Italy's Saipem approved on Thursday

a planned merger with Norwegian rival Subsea7, paving

the way to the creation of a leading global player in offshore

energy services.
