March 26 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on
Thursday:
** German consumer goods maker Henkel is in advanced
talks to buy Olaplex ( OLPX ) in a deal that would value the
U.S. hair care products maker at about $2 per share, Bloomberg
News reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
** Allianz SE's asset management unit will acquire a
stake in electricity grid operator Amprion in a deal with
insurer Talanx to help fund a major grid upgrade as
Germany transitions to renewable electricity.
** British outsourcing firm Capita agreed to sell its
private sector contact centre business to Inspirit Capital to
focus on its public sector and pensions businesses, sending its
shares up 12%.
** Vinci has agreed to buy a toll highway portfolio in
India from Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund 2 in a deal valued
at about 150 billion rupees ($1.6 billion), the French
infrastructure firm said.
** U.S. private equity firm KKR has struck a deal to
acquire bakery chain Nothing Bundt Cakes from Roark Capital for
over $2 billion, including debt, a source familiar with the
matter told Reuters on Wednesday.
