Delta Air Lines Q2 Adjusted Earnings Decline, Revenue Rises

07:01 AM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $2.36 per diluted share, down from $2.68 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.38.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $16.66 billion, compared with $15.58 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $15.70 billion.

For Q3, the company said it expects $1.70 to $2 in adjusted EPS and 2% to 4% in revenue growth. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $2.06 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $15.55 billion.

Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) reiterated its full-year 2024 adjusted EPS outlook of $6 to $7. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $6.57.

In addition, the company said it will increase its quarterly dividend by 50% starting in the September quarter.

Shares of Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) were down more than 7% premarket.
