10:31 AM EDT, 10/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Diana Shipping ( DSX ) said Wednesday it signed a time charter contract with Raffles Shipping International for a Panamax dry bulk vessel.

The company said the gross charter rate for its m/v Selina vessel is $10,500 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties. The charter is expected to begin Thursday and end from as early as March 1, 2025, to as late as April 20, 2025.

Diana Shipping ( DSX ) expects to generate roughly $1.4 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter, it said.
