Walt Disney to launch its streaming service, Disney+ in India on March 29, ahead of the 13th Indian Premier League.

The service will be made available through Hotstar. Disney+ will offer two categories of pricing, one will be premium with the library and original programming and the other will be basic with only the library.

Hotstar is also expected to be renamed as 'Disney+ Hotstar'. Before India, Disney+ will be rolled out in parts of Western Europe on March 24. It was launched in the USA, Canada and the Netherlands on November 12.
