Disney Acquires Global Theatrical Rights to Bluey Movie

09:33 AM EST, 12/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) said Tuesday that it has acquired the global theatrical rights for the full-length film version of the children's animated show Bluey.

The company said the movie will be shown in theaters in 2027 under the Disney brand, after which it will be available on its Disney+ streaming service.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
