06:11 AM EDT, 10/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Disney World (DIS) said Wednesday its theme park in Florida would remain closed through Thursday to prepare for Hurricane Milton as it approaches the state.

Campgrounds and rental cabins are also temporarily closed and is expected to remain closed until Sunday, the company said.

Hurricane Milton made landfall as a Category 3 storm near Florida late Wednesday.
