05:17 PM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dollar General ( DG ) said late Wednesday it appointed Kamy Scarlett, an executive at Best Buy (BBBY), to the board of directors, expanding the number of board members to 10.

Scarlett is senior executive vice president of human resources, corporate affairs and Best Buy Canada. The board appointment was effective Monday.

Scarlett will serve on the compensation and human capital management committee and the nominating, governance and corporate responsibility committee, Dollar General ( DG ) said.
