07:03 AM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dollar Tree ( DLTR ) reported Q1 adjusted diluted earnings Wednesday of $1.43 per share, down from $1.47 per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.43 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended May 4 was $7.63 billion, up from $7.32 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $7.67 billion.

The company expects full-year fiscal 2024 adjusted earnings of $6.50 to $7 per share. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $6.90 per share. The company reiterated net sales forecast range of $31 billion to $32 billion for the year. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $31.40 billion.

The company expects Q2 adjusted earnings in the range of $1 to $1.10 per share on net sales of $7.3 billion to $7.6 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect adjusted profit of $1.20 per share and sales of $7.60 billion.
