How often have HDFC shares risen by 8 percent in a single day? It was because of the quarterly update. In the second-quarter update, HDFC has beaten street expectations.
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Keki Mistry, VC and CEO of HDFC said that they are not expecting a significant rise in NPAs. Mistry further added that there is no margin and competition pressure. He expects the momentum to continue over the next few months.
On the interest rates, Mistry said that he does not expect a change in the rates, but a 25 basis point rate cut cannot be ruled out.
