Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.51.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $2.08 billion, compared with $1.98 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.11 billion.
The company said it now expects 2025 adjusted EPS of $9.50 to $9.60, up from its previous outlook range of $9.35 to $9.55. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $9.48.
Dover continues to expect full-year revenue growth of 4% to 6%.
The company's shares were up 1.4% in recent premarket activity.
