09:03 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Draganfly ( DPRO ) , a developer of drone solutions and systems, and Palladyne AI Corp. ( PDYN ) , a developer of advanced artificial intelligence and autonomous systems, announced Monday the completion of a "key" integration milestone.

According to a statement the companies have tested Palladyne AI's ( PDYN ) SwarmOS platform across Draganfly's ( DPRO ) mission-ready drone components and "validated the system through completion of a successful flight simulation". It said "this milestone represents a significant step toward enabling advanced autonomous swarm capabilities for U.S. defense applications."

Monday's statement noted SwarmOS-powered systems are designed to "adapt to evolving mission conditions, including degraded communications or asset loss, allowing the swarm to reconfigure and continue operations autonomously".

"This milestone is a meaningful proof point," said Cameron Chell, CEO of Draganfly ( DPRO ).

"Completing the SwarmOS port across Draganfly's ( DPRO ) defined platform and validating it through flight simulation is a significant step forward," said Ben Wolff, President and CEO Palladyne AI ( PDYN ). "SwarmOS isn't about pre-programmed drones flying in formation, it's about giving every drone in the swarm the intelligence to read its environment, collaborate with its teammates, and make the right decision in milliseconds."

Shares in DPRO were down near 13% on the Canadian Securities Exchange last Friday amid broad market losses. On Friday the company announced it will host a shareholder update call on March 24, 2026, at 5:30 PM EST.
