Dye & Durham Confirms Strategic Review Process Despite Plantro Withdrawing Bid
Oct 23, 2025 5:33 AM

08:05 AM EDT, 10/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dye & Durham ( DYNDF ) Thursday said the company's strategic committee, chaired by David Danziger, a Plantro nominee, remains actively engaged in the review of strategic alternatives, even as Plantro withdrew its proposal to acquire the company. CIBC is also no longer financial advisor.

Plantro this week sought to abandon the July 29 cooperation agreement with the company, and then unilaterally withdrew its acquisition bid, citing several reasons. CIBC Capital Markets, which Dye & Durham ( DYNDF ) said on Oct. 20, was engaging with Plantro to understand its proposal, has since withdrawn as financial advisor.

The strategic committee is in the process of engaging a new financial advisor.

Dye & Durham ( DYNDF ) confirms that it is willing to settle its litigation against Matthew Proud and Plantro if they "unequivocally reaffirm" their commitment to the cooperation agreement and respect the strategic review.
