Ecopetrol Says Reficar Awarded 19.9% McDermott Stake

10:21 AM EDT, 03/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ecopetrol ( EC ) said Friday that a Dutch Court has awarded its subsidiary Reficar convertible preferred shares representing 19.9% of McDermott International's share capital.

The decision is part of a longstanding dispute between Reficar, an oil refinery in Cartagena, Colombia, and McDermott's Chicago Bridge & Iron, according to media reports.

McDermott did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
