07:50 AM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ecovyst ( ECVT ) said Monday its board has started a strategic review of its Advanced Materials & Catalysts business for "maximizing shareholder value."

The Advanced Materials & Catalysts operations are comprised of two business units -- Advanced Silicas and Zeolyst International, the company said.

Ecovyst ( ECVT ) also said it anticipates completing the review in mid-2025, adding that there is no guarantee any transaction may take place.
