E-L Financial Declares Special $60 per Share Cash Dividend

08:02 AM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- E-L Financial ( ELFIF ) late on Friday said it will pay a special cash dividend of $60 per share, payable June 14 to shareholders of record on May 14.

The investment and insurance holding company said the recent performance of its global investment portfolios allowed it to pay the special cash dividend.

The special dividend is an eligible dividend for the purposes of the Income Tax Act, Canada and any similar provincial tax legislation, E-L Financial ( ELFIF ) said.
