06:53 AM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Elanco Animal Health ( ELAN ) said Tuesday the US Food and Drug Administration has approved an updated label for Zenrelia to remove language on the risk of fatal vaccine-induced disease from modified live virus vaccines.

Zenrelia is a prescription medication used to treat itching associated with skin allergies in dogs aged 12 months and above.

The company said the updated label follows a review of additional scientific data by the FDA.

Elanco shares were up 2.2% in recent premarket activity.
