08:16 AM EST, 12/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Electra Battery Materials ( ELBM ) said Monday it has named Marty Rendall as chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1.

The mining company said Rendall will succeed David Allen, who is retiring. Rendall was previously CFO of Victoria Gold, Electra said.

Shares of the company were up 1.5% in recent Monday premarket activity.
