11:09 AM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Elevation Gold Mining ( EVGDF ) on Wednesday said its second-quarter gold production fell 6% as it mined lower-grade ores at its Moss mine in Arizona.
The company produced 6,380 ounces of gold in the quarter, down from 6,788 ounces in the year-prior period. It average grade fell to 0.35 grams per tonne of ore, down from 0.38 gpt a year earlier.
Gold sales rose 3.4% to 7.070 ounces from 6,840 ounces in the year-prior quarter.
The company's shares were last seen down $0.01 to $0.08 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
