11:36 AM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly ( LLY ) has acquired a manufacturing facility in southeastern Wisconsin from privately held Nexus Pharmaceuticals, expanding its production network for injectable medicines and supporting increased demand for its drug therapies, the companies said on Monday.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Production at the Pleasant Prairie facility, which does not provide contract manufacturing services and will be solely dedicated to Lilly, could begin at the end of 2025, according to the statement.
