06:08 AM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly ( LLY ) is temporarily suspending UK shipments of its weight-loss drug Mounjaro ahead of its price increase in September, according to media reports as early as Wednesday.

Media outlets said the company has guaranteed allocations for certain pharmacies and providers to manage supply and ensure patients' access to the drug. Eli Lilly ( LLY ) also noted regulations that prevent unlawful stockpiling of medicines, the reports said.

Eli Lilly ( LLY ) is set to resume orders for Mounjaro on Sept. 1, according to the reports.
