Embraer poised to win E190-E2 jet order from Virgin Australia, sources say

PARIS, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Brazilian planemaker Embraer ( ERJ )

is set to win an order for eight E190-E2 regional

jets from Virgin Australia after winning a competition against

the A220, the smallest model of Europe's Airbus,

industry sources said on Monday.

Embraer ( ERJ ) declined to comment and the Australian carrier could

not immediately be reached outside local business hours.
