06:20 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Embraer ( EMBJ ) secured an order from Finnair for 18 E195-E2 aircraft, with options for 16 more and 12 purchase rights, the Finland-based carrier said Monday as it advances its narrow-body fleet renewal strategy to boost regional connectivity and lower emissions.
Financial details of the order weren't provided.
Deliveries of the 134-seat jets are scheduled between 2027 and 2029 and will be operated by regional partner Norra, the airline said.
Embraer's ( EMBJ ) E195-E2 provides more than 30% better fuel efficiency per seat than earlier-generation E190-E1 aircraft, the airline added.
Finnair said it also signed spare engines purchase and maintenance services agreements with RTX's (RTX) Pratt & Whitney covering PW1900G GTF engines.
