Emera Completes $750 Million Senior Notes Offering

01:28 PM EDT, 03/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Emera ( EMA ) said its US finance unit completed the sale of $750 million of US dollar-denominated senior notes.

The offering consisted of $450 million of 4.5% senior notes due 2029 and $300 million of 5.2% senior notes due 2033, Emera ( EMA ) said Friday in a statement.

Net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment, the company said.
