UK competition regulator clears Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems merger

Aug 8 (Reuters) - Britain's competition regulator on

Friday said it had cleared Boeing's ( BA ) planned acquisition

of Spirit AeroSystems ( SPR ) after deciding to not refer the

deal to an in-depth investigation.
