09:11 AM EDT, 03/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Emerson Electric ( EMR ) said Wednesday that it has completed its acquisition of all remaining shares of Aspen Technology ( AZPN ) that it does not already own.

Emerson said that AspenTech's financial results will be consolidated into its Control Systems and Software segment, and that AspenTech Chief Executive Antonio Pietri will step down.

The company also said Vincent Servello, vice president, strategy and corporate development, will serve as president of the AspenTech business unit, while AspenTech Chief Financial Officer David Baker will stay on as the new unit's CFO.

Shares of Emerson Electric ( EMR ) were up 4.5% in recent premarket activity.
