10:29 AM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- S&P Global Ratings on Monday revised the outlooks on Enbridge ( ENB ) units Enbridge Gas Ohio, and Enbridge Gas Utah to stable from negative.

The rating agency also affirmed the ratings on the companies, including the "BBB+" issuer credit rating.

The stable outlooks on Enbridge Gas Ohio and Enbridge Gas Utah are consistent with the stable outlook on parent Enbridge ( ENB ).

The rating agency recently revised the rating outlook on Enbridge ( ENB ) to stable from negative and affirmed the ratings on the company following its purchase of Questar Gas Co. dba Enbridge Gas Utah and the East Ohio Gas Co. dba Enbridge Gas Ohio.

S&P expects Enbridge's ( ENB ) pending acquisition of Public Service Co. of North Carolina to close by year-end.
