Energy Fuels, Chemours Form Alliance to Create U.S. Domestic Supply Chain of Critical Minerals

07:58 AM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) and Chemours on Tuesday said they sealed a strategic alliance to expand their existing relationship to enhance U.S. domestic rare earth and critical mineral supply chains to meet increasing demand.

U.S.-listed shares of Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) were last seen up 1.4% at $4.410 in pre-market trading. This comes a day after Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korea-based POSCO International to establish a non-China rare-earths supply chain for electric vehicles and hybrid EV drivetrains for U.S., European Union, Japanese and South Korean automakers.

Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) is currently developing new heavy mineral sands projects in Madagascar, Brazil, and Australia. Chemours mines and separates heavy mineral sands from its mines in Florida and Georgia.

U.S.-listed shares of Chemours were last seen down $0.05 at $14.55 in pre-market trading.
