09:36 AM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Enviri ( NVRI ) shares fell more than 9% in early trading Tuesday after the company reported Q2 adjusted loss of $0.22 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $0.02 a year ago.
Three analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.12.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $562 million, down from $610 million a year earlier.
Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $576.6 million.
The environmental company said it now expects 2025 adjusted loss of $0.52 to $0.30 per diluted share, compared with previous outlook of $0.34 to $0.11 loss. Three analysts polled by FactSet expect a loss of $0.18.
Additionally, Enviri ( NVRI ) said it is conducting a formal process to evaluate and explore strategic alternatives, which could include a tax-efficient sale or separation of the Clean Earth business.
