05:13 PM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- EQT (EQT) has entered into a 20-year sale and purchase agreement with Commonwealth LNG for 1 million tonnes per year of liquefied natural gas from the latter's upcoming export facility near Cameron, Louisiana, the companies said in separate statements late Monday.

Financial details weren't provided.

Under the terms, EQT will buy LNG on a free-on-board basis, with prices linked to Henry Hub, and will handle the international marketing and optimization of the shipments, EQT said.

The agreement will become effective once Commonwealth finalizes its investment decision for the project, the companies said.
