10:46 AM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Equity Commonwealth ( EQC ) said investors of the real estate investment trust will receive $19 per share through the company's initial cash liquidating distribution on Dec. 6 following board authorization disclosed on Friday.

Equity Commonwealth ( EQC ) also revised its estimate of its total distribution amount to a new range of $20 to $21 per share from its prior expectation of $19.50 to $21 per share.

Shareholders of record on Nov. 25 are eligible for the initial distribution, the company said.

Shares of the company were up 1.3% in recent trading.
