Ero Copper's Tucuma Operation in Brazil Hit by Temporary Power Disruption
Oct 7, 2024 1:49 AM

04:17 AM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ero Copper ( ERO ) said Sunday there was a temporary power disruption at its Tucuma operation in Brazil due to a severe windstorm.

The operator of the transmission line expects to fully restore power to industrial consumers within two weeks, the company said.

Ero Copper's ( ERO ) workforce is safe and there was no damage to infrastructure at Tucuma, it said.

"The company expects the primary impact will be on the ramp-up schedule of the processing plant, and in turn, full-year production results at the Tucuma operation," Ero said.
